FightLite Industries, a division of ARES Defense Systems, Inc., will be releasing a multi-caliber platform called the MXR.
Yes, that means you can change the barrel – on a user level without tools – to .22LR, 9mm, .357 Sig, .40 S&W, 10mm, 45ACP and FN 5.7 x 28mm.
But what about magazines you ask? The MXR can be converted to enable common pistol magazines, for instance made by Glock, Sig, Beretta, CZ, S&W etc.
The end of the barrel is threaded to accommodate suppressors (for instance).
The FightLite MXR will be available in pistol, carbine and select-fire submachine gun configurations.
I hope they will have this firearm ready for the people going to the SHOT Show Range Day, as it looks like a blast to shoot.
